The Instant Disaster Recovery system makes all of the other solutions obsolete. With our system you will not have to depend on unreliable tape back ups and, most importantly, you will not have to travel to and configure servers at remote locations or borrow processors from partner banks in other cities.
Seamless
The IDR system works the following way:
- Your workstations will have two additional icons on their desktops. The first icon is a shortcut to our web interface and the second will be to the IDR system itself.
- When you need to utilize the system, simply click on the web interface,
type your username and password and select your desired usage (as pictured
below).
This will allow the system to be activated for either testing or Disaster Recovery.
- After you have activated the system, click the IDR icon and log in using your secure username and password
- Once you have logged in, you may instantaneously begin processing your data, in real time, from our network.
- There is no need to reconfigure any machines and all printers at your location should continue to work as normal.
- In the event that your entire facility were to completely become inaccessible, you could still use the IDR system from any workstation or laptop with Internet access and a VPN.
- You can even store reams of statement paper at the DIS warehouse, so that you can print to our printers at our facility.
